  • 800-ton high speed press facility with integrated manipulator and self-contained rotary and heat-treating furnaces

  • New 35 metric ton rail-bound manipulator installed for the 6,000-ton press
  • Relocated previous outdoor conditioning/grinding area to centralized indoor facility

  • On-schedule operation of 40,000-ton all-forged hydraulic press
  • Installation of SNK 3-spindle 5-axis CNC machining center
  • Certification to ISO 9002; 1994(e) by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA)
2001
  • VAR furnaces retrofitted with unique computerized auto-arc gap control feature
  • Installation of proprietary system to permit "quick change" die tooling in the Large Press facilities
2002
  • 1,650 ton press retrofitted with new computerized controls, pumps and valves to permit ultra high-speed preforming operations
  • Two additional Pratt & Whitney CNC horizontal mills
  • New 55 ton mobile manipulator - the largest in the United States (adds to our existing family of large mobile manipulators)
